Peer-Review Policy
All manuscripts submitted to (SJST) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure scholarly quality and impartiality. This means the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the evaluation.
Review Process Overview
-
Initial Assignment & Review: Each manuscript is assigned by the editorial team to at least two independent experts in the relevant field for evaluation.
-
Decision Basis: The editorial decision—whether acceptance, revision, or rejection—is based on a comprehensive assessment of all reviewer reports and recommendations.
-
Editorial Decision-Making:
-
The Editor-in-Chief holds final responsibility for all publication decisions, guided by the reviewers' comments.
-
When necessary, the Editor-in-Chief may consult one or more members of the Advisory Board for additional expert insight prior to finalizing a decision.
-
-
Process Integrity: Associate Editors and Review Editors provide essential administrative and supervisory support to ensure the peer-review process is conducted efficiently, fairly, and with integrity.
-
Appeal Process: If authors formally contest a rejection decision with substantive counter-arguments, the manuscript may be sent for an additional review by a new referee. The final decision will then be made based on this further recommendation.
This structured process is designed to uphold the highest standards of academic rigor and editorial fairness.
